I never had much luck with the "Bob Boyce" method of cross sanding plates.But I have seen tremendous increases in efficiency sand blasting my plates. Garnet media is stout and has sharp edges that create deep rough edges in the plate surface thus dramatically increasing surface area and increasing the efficiency at which the hho is created. Both of these cell are equal in design and size.
