After years of mid 150whp road racing with a B18 powerplant, Mikey decided to upgrade to a factory K24 all motor engine. Opting for E85 as a fuel, this new exhaust , header and cold air intake setup made a healthy 231whp , with excellent drivability characteristics. A partial and full throttle tune was explored where ignition timing, fuel ratios, VTEC crossover plus cam control were all optimized. The results yielded improved fuel economy, power and reliability, using an AEM EMS. This was a two hour tuning session, and the video depicts the last wide open throttle sweep. Enjoy.
