Paulo Adario
É ar condicionado do planeta e caixa d'água do Brasil.

Why are people obsessed with saving the Amazon? Paulo Adario has devoted years of his life to the forest and has some suggestions. The Amazon is remote, contains Indians that have never been contacted, and a spectacular biodiversity. It's the planet's air conditioning and the water tank of Brazil. 20 million people live in this huge forest. Adario decided to fight so the Amazon would not suffer the same destruction the Atlantic Forest did. "Brazil has provided evidence that it can stop deforestation. We have to be the country that effectively stops it".

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations).
