World Aids Day, commemorated every year on the first of December. It's a day that acknowledges those who have passed on and those who are living with HIV/AIDS. South Africa is home to 19% of people living with HIV/AIDS in the world. We account for 15% of new infections and 11% of HIV/AIDS related deaths.
