Greetings!  We have been super busy lately and that is why I have only been uploading quickies.  Not to worry, regular videos are on the way.  This time of year is always so full of things to get done.  I am already longing for a break.  The garden is planted, the yard is next.  We have been doing everything on the list that we made over the not so long winter and Rick has been putting in new faucets in our bathrooms and then he was finally able to install this new (to us) kitchen sink.  We got this stainless steel sink at a yard sale for 5 or 10 dollars, I can't remember.  I LOVE IT!  We were also able to install a new garbage disposal and faucet as well.  The other plus here is that I was able to clean out under the sink, which sometimes tends to become a vast wasteland for all things kitchen.  Now it is empty and pristine and I was able to stow the cleaning supplies and extra baking pans in bins in my new deck cabinet!  Now I can get bins for root veggies and keep them under there.


I also wanted to share this quick and delicious Greek cucumber salad with you.  Just a cucumber sliced thin, some plain Greek yogurt and some dill, salt and pepper.  Really yummy and a perfect accompaniment to the grilled chicken Rick cooked tonight.  We only had the chicken, cucumber salad, sauteed mushrooms and sliced tomatoes and boy was it a great meal.  Summer is on the way and this meal is perfect for the warmer weather.
