July 2010 lava activity in Kalapana. Several days and nights leading up to the house destruction. This video is comprised of many short clips. Activity includes methane gas flames that were up to 10-15 feet high. Lava flowing on hwy 130 and 137. Lava flowing through trees. Brush fires and much more. No fancy HD camera. Just shot with a Casio pocket camera that was found out in the flows months ago. It had been sitting in the rain for who knows how long. Surprised it even worked. The clips are unedited sections of larger videos that covered 11 days and nights out at the lava flow. I slept maybe 1 hour a day if at all. Full versions of each segment will be loaded too.
