Είναι Απόφοιτος Ψυχολογίας του Αριστοτέλειου Παν/μιου Θεσσαλονίκης με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στην μεταβλητή του «φύλου» του Παν/μιου Αιγαίου και εργάζεται ιδιωτικά ως ψυχολόγος από το 2006 . Έχει συμμετάσχει σε διάφορα Ευρωπαϊκά Προγράμματα που αφορούσαν τη συμβουλευτική στήριξη ευπαθών ομάδων του πληθυσμού, όπως άτομα της τρίτης ηλικίας, ΑΜΕΑ , κακοποιημένες γυναίκες και παιδιά, ανέργους , κτλ. Παράλληλα, έχει συνεργαστεί με το Παν/μιο Αιγαίου σε δράσεις συμβουλευτικής και επαγγελματικού προσανατολισμού μέσα από την οπτική του φύλου, καθώς και με το παν/μιο της Θεσσαλίας για την ψυχολογική στήριξη αλλοδαπών και παλλινοστούντων μαθητών. Κατά διαστήματα έχει εργαστεί ως συντονίστρια «Σχολών Γονέων». Τέλος, αρθρογραφεί εβδομαδιαία σε τοπική εφημερίδα της Ρόδου σχετικά με καθημερινά ζητήματα ψυχολογίας. Graduate student of Psychology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with postgraduate studies concerning "gender issues" at the university of the Aegean.She’s been working as a psychologist since 2006. She participated in several European Programs that involved the provision of counseling support to vulnerable groups such as the elderly, people with special needs, abused women and children, the unemployed, etc. and also she has collaborated with the University of the Aegean in counseling and career guidance activities from the gender perspective and the University of Thessaly for the psychological support of foreign and repatriated students. From time to time she also works as a coordinator of "Parents' Schools" and finally, she’s also currently writing weekly in a local newspaper of Rhodes on daily psychology issues. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
