Starting to Pack the Aquaponic Garden

Sometimes I am forced to ask myself just what I am prepared to leave behind. It seems the aquaponic garden is NOT one of those things. After much consideration I believe I may have figured out how this is going to happen! The first step is to remove as much of the extra stuff as I can from the main system. Which means the big 55 gallon tank & swirl filter are going 'offline' for a bit! Yes, these are both very good items to have running but no, I don't really need them for the next week or so. My goldfish have lived in these totes before, and for longer, so while it does look quite crowded I'm sure they will be just fine. I put out a message to one of the local garden groups I'm part of on FB and was lucky enough to find someone with a 3.5 x 5 x 8 foot pond to take several of the larger goldies. Six I think was the final total. She was kind enough to message me a picture of the fish in their new pond and I'm certain they will be happy and well cared for. HazzaH I still need to cut these plants back, decide which will be shoved into buckets next Friday and a few other details so there will be more to come on this packing & moving project!
