I've pruned these twice before, but not thoroughly, as the tenants like them full to provide privacy. But the trees were really a mess, incredibly dense, laden with dead wood and ctrossing branches As well, a major long heavy lateral had split and hung down over the entry. I reduced it a lot and kept it as it is a major part of the tree and adds character. I spent over five hours working on these two small pines, plus cleanup time.
