NWS comments on Yutu's damage

National Weather Service Meteorologist Chip Guard says Super Typhoon Yutu is moving west-northwest away from Saipan and Tinian but it left of trail of destruction in its path.  He estimates that Yutu passed through Saipan and Tinian as a medium Category 5 typhoon with winds speeds of 175 miles per hour with gusts up to 200 mph. He said this was a devastating storm for the two islands.
