(ENG) Sawdust (Scrapped Valiant Maps) is a set of 7 scrapped Valiant maps created by Paul DeBruyne (skillsaw) that involves the same gameplay as Valiant. Over the past year the author has been reminded numerous times to share them, and was reminded by AD_79 that these exist a couple of weeks ago when the maps were released.

Valiant is a MBF megawad for Doom II featuring 32 new maps spanning 5 themed episodes. It was created by Paul DeBruyne (skillsaw) and was released in May 30, 2015. Each map is designed to be played from a pistol start, but some effort has been made to support continuous play as well.

Additionally, Valiant includes a number of new monsters and weapons implemented through an extensive MBF format DeHackEd patch. As a result, Valiant is not compatible with gameplay mods, and can only be played in ports with full MBF DeHackEd support. At present, these include ZDoom, GZDoom, PrBoom-plus 2.5.1.4(complevel 11), and Eternity. Zandronum is also supported through DECORATE.

The plot centers on the protagonist's investigation and struggle against "Project Valiant", a mutagenic product which will provoke a "bioengineered, cybernetic apocalypse" if it is allowed to reach Earth.

(FRA) Sawdust (Scrapped Valiant Maps) est un ensemble de 7 cartes Valiant mises au rebut créées par Paul DeBruyne (Skillsaw) et impliquant le même jeu que Valiant. Au cours de la dernière année, il a été rappelé à l'auteur de nombreuses fois de les partager, et AD_79 a rappelé à ceux-ci qu'ils existaient il y a quelques semaines, au moment de la publication des cartes.

Valiant est un mégawad MBF pour Doom II comportant 32 nouvelles cartes réparties en 5 épisodes thématiques. Elle a été créée par Paul DeBruyne (Skillsaw) et est sortie le 30 mai 2015. Chaque carte est conçue pour être jouée à partir d'un pistolet, mais des efforts ont été déployés pour soutenir le jeu en continu.

En outre, Valiant inclut un certain nombre de nouveaux monstres et armes mis en œuvre via un patch détaillé DeHackEd au format MBF. En conséquence, Valiant n'est pas compatible avec les mods de jeu et ne peut être joué que sur des ports bénéficiant de la prise en charge complète de MBF DeHackEd. À l'heure actuelle, il s'agit de ZDoom, GZDoom, PrBoom-plus 2.5.1.4 (niveau 11) et Eternity. Zandronum est également pris en charge via DECORATE.
