With the worst of the Great Depression behind them by 1935, Chrysler Corporation decided it was time to offer a completely new Plymouth line. Sales were brisk and additional upgrades were made in 1936. As part of the new 1936 “Business” series, the 2-door, five-passenger “trunkback” coupe offered style, comfort and massive storage capacity. This all steel beauty is powered by an easy starting, fuel injected 1992 Dodge 5.2L powerplant mated to a 1992 Dodge A518-46RE automatic transmission and Plymouth 8.25” rear end. The owner states 2,228 miles since rebuild. This hot rod is finished in a tasteful grey metallic with red fenders and gray interior set off by beautiful VDO Cockpit Royal gauges. Additional features include custom aluminum radiator, B&M Unimatic shifter, fuel cell by Tanks, Inc. and Magnaflow exhaust.
