I bought this to work on some laptop hard drives that are sata.  I didn't have a sata to usb adapter.. only a IDE to USB adapter.  So I figured I would get one that covers it all including SATA, 2.5in laptop hard drives and our standard 3.5inch internal hard drives.  It will even work with a 5.25in cd drives as well, I didn't mention it in the video. 

You can pick this up on Amazon for roughly around 25 bucks, its a good buy and should be in the tool box for your everyday computer repair .
