“You never know what that person that’s sitting next to you is going through until you talk to them.” Kofi Nimo, a Boston College student, gives a powerful talk about adjusting to college and struggling to find a community. This talk demonstrates the value of overcoming our fears so that we can better understand and accept each other, and in doing so, better accept ourselves. Kofi is an undergraduate student in the Carroll School of Management. He won the inaugural TEDxBostonCollege Student Speaker Competition back in February with his speech focusing on the masks people put up. At our conference he will be speaking about  "The Role of Acceptance in Bringing People Together."
