Darren Walker was one of six recipients to receive the Texas Exes 2009 Distinguished Alumnus Award on October 9. This video highlights his life and accomplishments. Walker received a BS & BA in 1982 and a JD 1986 from The University of Texas at Austin. He lives in New York and is vice president of the Rockefeller Foundation. He has been a leader in revitalizing Harlem and has served on numerous charitable boards in New York and internationally.
