The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid tribute to the victims of the Leicester helicopter crash today as they paid tribute to their friend Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha who was one of five killed. Prince William and wife Kate began their tour outside the King Power Stadium, where the disaster occurred almost a month ago to the day, and met club players, staff and supporters. They were also led to the huge tribute site near the ground where thousands have left flowers and stood in solemn silence to pay their own respects, before Kate laid down a bouquet on the couple's behalf (left and centre). Mr Srivaddhanaprabha's son Aiyawatt, vice chairman of the club, greeted the royals (top right) with his weeping mother Aimon (bottom right) and sister Aroonroong. William also made a speech at the stadium, praising Mr Srivaddhanaprabha's impact on the Leicester community and remarking it was a 'privilege' to fly with pilot Eric Swaffer, who was also killed in the crash.
