War Room at Mumbai new initiative by Mumbai Municipal Corporation

Mumbai Municipal Corporation have initiated its own Disaster Management Centre. This War Room will coordinate with all the stakeholders who are responsible to maintain law and order situation in the city. Its a 12000 Sq.Ft new infrastructure manned by 13 people in three shifts. It is important to note that during the worst monsoon floods and 26/11 lack of coordination amongst the stakeholders was the major reason of deeper impact of these calamities.
