Part1: Enlighten night festival & food market with many different cuisines, lots of Asian cuisine choices. Usually held in March with food stalls, live entertainment, activities, and light projector shows on the big National buildings in the Parkes city area. Dishes tried: Hoy Pinoy Restaurant. Inihaw Baboy and Manok, marinated BBQ pork and chicken sewers with rice and achara (pickled papaya). Kusina Filipino Restaurant. Crunchy fried chicken wings with chilli banana ketchup sauce (best deal of the day). Lets Do Yum Cha Restaurant. Got a mixed plate: Cha Siu Bao or steamed BBQ pork buns, spring rolls, Dim Sum dumplings of pork and shrimp (prawns). N2 Extreme Gelato. Cake smash They use liquid nitrogen to make gelato or ice cream from scratch. It is much faster and does not get ice crystals. We tried the Cake Smash with a syringe of strawberry sauce. Really good and first time trying N2.
