Martin Luther is known for restoring the gospel of faith alone. And yet he was accused of teaching a gospel of works due to his insistence on repentance and using the law to bring sinners to Christ. Were these two separate gospels? Or were they only two different approaches: one for the proud & self-righteous and another for the humble & penitent?
