Michele Dunne cautions the Obama administration against developing a rigid list of policy priorities for the Middle East and encourages officials instead to develop a framework for dealing with the unexpected challenges that are likely to arise. Dunne spoke at a recent panel sponsored by the Project on Middle East Democracy and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
