In a shocking incident, a man was thrashed and kicked by a constable forcing to him accept a theft.

Man named Erappa alleges he was picked up by a constable on charges of theft in Gadag and was tortured in the custody.

Man also alleges that cops forced him to accept the theft which he claims he has never done.

Man has been admitted to GIMS hospital. Erappa is suffering from severe chest pain.
