12 ఏళ్లలోపు చిన్నారులపై అత్యాచారానికి పాల్పడే కామాంధులకు ఉరిశిక్ష విధించే విధంగా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకొచ్చిన చట్టానికి ఏపీ మహిళా కమిషన్ చైర్ పర్సన్ నన్నపనేని రాజకుమారి స్వాగతం పలికారు. కామాంధులకు ఉరిశిక్ష విధించాలని కోరుతూ తాను ప్రధాని మోదీకి గతంలో లేఖలు రాసినట్టు ఆమె తెలిపారు. 

ఈ నేపథ్యంలో తీసుకొచ్చిన చట్టానికి స్వాగతం పలుకుతున్నట్టు చెప్పారు. ముఖ్యంగా గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల్లో చిన్నారులపై అఘాయిత్యాలు ఎక్కువగా జరుగుతున్నాయని ఆమె పేర్కొన్నారు. దీంతో కఠిన శిక్షలపై అక్కడి వారికి అవగాహన కల్పించాలని అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. మహిళల రక్షణపై తీసుకోవాల్సిన చర్యల గురించి ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు ఆధ్వర్యంలో సమావేశం జరగనుందని తెలిపారు.
