Raccoon - The Missing Tail (Part 2)

This is "Baby Bear" who is a friendly adult that has been coming around since late spring 2011 either at dusk or early dawn. His favourite place is to lounge on our terrace dining chair. We're saddened to see that his tail is missing which must've happened after mid-January 2012. We saw him previously on 2/8/12 which his visit was documented on another video here on YouTube. UPDATE: This was the last video taken of Baby Bear who hasn't been seen since 3/22/12. We'd like to remain hopeful that his tail has healed and that he's moved onto greater adventures. We will miss seeing him but fondly forever remember him. NOTE: Our rescue raccoons resides in a region where there hasn't been a case of raccoon rabies for over three decades which is tracked by the local public health department. We are fortunate to be able to observe and professional work with a variety of wildlife species since we reside next to a protected wildlife preserve. Our rescue raccoons lounge and play on our terrace as well as use it as a thoroughfare. No children nor pets are ever harmed, especially the wild animals captured in these videos.
