Annelise Riles is the new Executive Director of the Roberta Buffett Institute for Global Studies and Associate Provost for Global Affairs at Northwestern University. Professor Riles also joins Northwestern’s Pritzker School of Law as a tenured professor—returning to the school where she served as Assistant Professor and Professor from 1997–2002—and she will hold a courtesy appointment in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences’ Department of Anthropology.
