What are some differences between Disney stars and Nickelodeon stars ? 
      There's one lens through which to see this: Disney Channel is owned by Disney (aka ABC / ESPN).  Nickelodeon is owned by MTV.  Disney exists to market its squeaky clean and priceless brand.  Nickelodeon exists to make money off its shows and prepare kids for MTV.  Granted, it makes kids shows, but it doesn't have billions of dollars of intellectual property and legacy to protect.  So most of the time, Nickelodeon takes bigger risks and ends up making what I would rather watch, and Disney makes shows that it's safe to put any age of kid in front of 24/7 without any concern.  On any given day, Hannah Montana bumps into someone at the beach club who looks just like her and decides to go on two dates at once and iCarly talks about bra sizes to a 14-year old audience.  And at 10 pm Disney is showing shows for three year olds who haven't learned to sleep yet, and Nick is showing shows full of adult humor for parents who just haven't changed the channel.  Disney employees exist at the leisure of the brand, far more than even the ratings of their shows.
