The OTHER Route to Washington Family Ranch

If you have ever been to Washington Family Ranch in Oregon, you probably went one way or another into Antelope, and then traveled southeast to the Ranch. In my typical habit of Doing Things The Hard Way, I sought out a different route, riding from Madras east on Ashwood Road to the town of Ashwood, then following Gosner Road to the south end of Muddy Creek Road, the county road that routes through Washington Family Ranch. The route is absolutely beautiful, but it took me nearly two hours of fairly fast steady riding. Next time, I'll budget more time to enjoy the scenery (and let the buddies I'll bring along keep up!).
