English: The Euro Exhibition was officially opened on 25 January 2015 at the Peace Hall in Osnabrück, where the Peace of Wesphalia, which ended 30 years of war in Europe, was signed in 1648. The Exhibition was opened by Yves Mersch, Member of the Executive Board of the ECB, Carl-Ludwig Thiele, Member of the Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank, Wolfgang Griesert, Mayor of Osnabrück and Frank Elderson, Executive Director of the Governing Board of De Nederlandsche Bank. The Exhibition will take place at the Kulturgeschichtliches Museum in Osnabrück until 3 May 2015 giving residents and visitors to Osnabrück a chance to take a closer look at the currency used by 338 million people in the euro area. Deutsch: Die Euro Ausstellung wurde offiziell am 25. Januar 2015 im Friedenssaal in Osnabrück eröffnet. Dort, wo 1648 der Westfälische Frieden unterzeichnet wurde und somit 30 Jahre Krieg in Europa beendet wurden. Eröffnet wurde die Ausstellung von Yves Mersch, Vorstandsmitglied der EZB, Carl-Ludwig Thiele, Vorstandsmitglied der Deutschen Bundesbank, Wolfgang Griesert, Oberbürgermeister von Osnabrück und Frank Elderson, Direktoriumsmitglied von De Nederlandsche Bank. Die Ausstellung findet bis zum 3. Mai 2015 im Kulturgeschichtlichen Museum Osnabrücks statt. Dies bietet den Bewohnern und Besuchern Osnabrücks die Gelegenheit einen näheren Blick auf die Währung zu werfen, welche von 338 Millionen Menschen genutzt wird.
