Sens. Wyden (D-OR) and Brownback (R-KS) have introduced the Internet Radio Equality Act of 2007, setting the copyright rates of internet radio stations the same as satellite radio, giving small broadcasters like myself a chance to grow this medium into something so much more, and would go against the CRB and RIAA's attempts to shut us down with their rate hikes. I know Brownback supports this bill because he's the one that started it in the Senate (there's a House version too), and if it weren't for his stance on a lot of other issues I'd vote for Sam Brownback in a heartbeat. However, I'd like to see if anyone else running for President would pass this bill if Dubya doesn't. I know issues like this may not be as important as global warming or Iraq or Darfur, but it's an issue close to my heart as operator of my own internet radio station, Merge98FM.
