Fr. Louis outlines the progression of Advent from watching in anticipation which turns into a joyful Anticipation and now turns into a silent anticipation where we contemplate the coming of Our Lord so that he can bear fruit in our souls. He compares this with the hustle and bustle that the Advent season has become in our consumerist world. Father exhorts us to take time off from each day and in silence contemplate in our hearts the joyful mystery of the coming of Our Lord, just like Our Lady, and so grow closer to God and become a light to the world.
