In this mission I control the spearhead forces of Taskforce Thunder attacking into central Syria toward the city of Tadmur (Palmyra). I am tasked with probing the outlying defenses, which consist of trench systems, ATGM firing lines, mines, ambush points, and dismounted mechanized forces. The terrain proves to be a major hindrance to my armored forces.
