The Deira Gold Souk is the gold district of Dubai with almost countless retailers. This gold market is one of the popular tourist destinations in the emirates and it is known for its gold trade. A few minutes walk from here you will find The ferry boat terminal where you can cross the Dubai creek on small motor taxis. These traditional boats are called Abras and are a popular mode of transport for locals and tourists . The fare prices of 1 Dirham are very cheap. After a 5 minute trip you will arrive on the southern side of the Dubai Creek at the Bur Dubai Abra station. From here you can stay for a shopping trip or go for a walk. The next metro station is just a 10 minutes walk away
