Hey, everybody and welcome to Splatoon for the Wii U! This is the first time I've ever played, so don't judge me too harshly. I'm still working on getting good. In part 1 we have a quick tutorial mode (which you can skip if you like), and then we get thrust into Inkopolis, the happenin' city where the inklings like to hang out. After learning that we aren't "fresh" enough because we're just a little level 1 inkling, we head on over to Inkopolis Tower to start some online multiplayer and level up our freshness.

Splatoon is a third-person shooter made by Nintendo for the Wii U. In online multiplayer, you take control of an inkling boy or girl and face off in a team of four against another team trying to cover as much of the area as possible with your color ink. There are a variety of weapons including the splattershot, splat charger, and splat roller that you can use to both spray ink and take down the opposing team. At the end of 3 minutes, Judd the Cat will announce the winning team. Every time you play you can level up and get coins used to buy more weapons and clothing which will help you in battle. It's a great time, and I hope you enjoy this let's play.
