At a birthday party, the father of the house is given a double-barrel shotgun, over which he is most enthusiastic. Meanwhile, his daughter recieves a letter saying that her boyfriend will be home from college early. When the boyfriend arrives and see the shotgun, he misunderstands and departs in terror.
