In this video I actually end up chasing some stripers on the Susquehanna Flats.  I originally went out targeting Largemouth Bass but the tide just wasn't right at the time for what I wanted to do.  Instead I wonder out on the flats and head for the big group of tuna boats!  I knew anglers fished for stripers here on the Chesapeake Bay this time of year and that they can get on some striped bass pretty good at times.  I decided to see what the fuss was all about and if I could catch a few of these hard fighting fish!  It didn't take long to start catching them and even though these were not the giants I was hoping for it was still a good time.  I primary used a rattle trap (lipless crankbait) and a jerkbait.   They liked both and I caught stripers on both the lipless bait and the jerkabit but the jerkbait was just a lot of fun to throw.  I used a Lucky Craft Pointer 128 and aggressively jerked back to the boat and boy did it work great!  

It was pretty addicting as it turns out I spend the majority of the day out there chasing those fish.  Most of the stripers were up on the flats in about 3-4 feet of water.  Water temps were in the high 50's and the fish seemed to be pretty active.  I will definitely head out there again!
