This is a re-uploaded version. I just cut out the copyrighted music snippet.

Thunderfoot's latest video is distorting some of the real issues brought up by the West's wars in the Middle-East. While my video here was something I've had on the back burner for awhile I felt I had to rush it out because of this latest video. It doesn't quite touch the subjects Thunderfoot raised, but it explains some things that will help make it clear that Thunderfoot's rhetoric, somewhat inspired by right-wing political propaganda, is also a propaganda boon to extremist groups. Many Muslims believe the U.S. is out to destroy Islam. It doesn't help when English speaking Muslims can look on YouTube and have their worst suspicions confirmed.

Thunderfoot does not speak for any leader in the Western world. The Western leaders are only seeking these two things, 1) Justice for a crime committed against us by a group known as the Taliban which was led by Osama bin Laden. 2) A means to prevent further attacks.

While certain theocratic and violent versions of Islam are no doubt not compatible with Western secularism, or the concept of free speech, the West is not going to force secularism on the Middle East and it is not going to do much of anything about Islam in other parts of the world.

But there is hope that a secular version of Islam may emerge.

There are far more Muslims in the Middle East protesting for secularism than there are Muslims in the West pushing for their theocracy. See this video:
