Rev. Deborah Minoose has been President of the Aboriginal Ministries Canada for over 19 yrs and been involved in aboriginal ministries in Alberta BC and Sask for over 30 yrs. She was raised and groomed to become a medicine woman in her community of Calling Lake, AB. Deborah's family established the town and were influential in politics and native spirituality. At 4 years of age Deborah was a victim of the 60's Scoop. She was in foster care until the age 15. During that time, she suffered abuse. At 15 she returned to her community to look for her brother, who she learned, was a drug dealer. She flushed his drugs and ended up running to the small church to take shelter from her brother. Deborah ended up in the middle of a church service, was saved, filled and baptized that day. Thirty of Deborah's cousins followed and revival burst out in their community over the next 1.5 years. Today Deborah is an incredible leader to her people, a foster mom and lover of Jesus.
