This shows a crystal cell that has preformed oxide layers on the anode and cathode. The first test cell was taken apart for examination after 1 day and was dropped on the ground. In the process of carefully putting the cell back together again I thought of the nursery rhyme call "Humpty Dumpty" and the phrase ..." and all the king's horses and all the king's couldn't put Humpty Dumpty back together again." --hence the name. In this case the outcome was much better and the cell came back to life.
