In AD 43-44 as Paul was on his 1st Missionary Journey, the Emperor Claudius was invading Britain with 40,000 Roman legionnaires. Paul wrote that God sent Jesus "in the FULLNESS of time" (Gal. 4:4-5). God waited for the perfect time for the spread of the Gospel: a road system from Britain, through Europe to Africa, and Asia. The Roman Emperors thought they were expanding their Empire. Actually they were really paving the roads for the Gospel. God is a Savior and wanted the world to know of His Son's death for sinners. This video was shot at Caerwent, Wales, UK on an extension class field trip for Church History. For more of Dr. John Barnett's content go to DiscoverTheBook.org
