The pond survived Hurricane Irene. I was afraid it would have problems and I watched the water overflow the sides, but the fish were still alive and there were only a few leaves and twigs floating on the surface. The basement flooded because our power went out, but the pond survived as well as the rabbit cage (I kept the rabbit inside the house during the storm) Recorded on August 31, 2011 using a Flip Video camcorder.
