Emily & Lucas’s story was submitted by Emily. She saw the wedding giveaway on Community Choice’s facebook page and thought it was worth a shot! Emily is a nurse at Mercy and Lucas is a dietician at Drake. They met in college at the University of Iowa and are newly engaged. Lucas said Emily is the hardest worker he knows, working 50+ hours a week to keep their family afloat, pay for their wedding and her own way through college.
