Lost item metal detect.....FOUND!

A friend got in touch and said her horse riding buddy had lost a gold brooch in the shape of a riding crop, we went along a day later but didn't find it, then a couple of months later and the nights getting lighter in the evenings I went back, 2 hours later and I'd found the lost pin. it really was a needle in a haystack type search as the item was very thin.
