The big story this week leads onto a couple of others, so I'll lead with it. Physical Vita games will no longer be produced in Western regions in March 2019, with 'product code requests', also known as 'games you wish to manufacture', required to be in by the end of June, and final orders on the 15th of Feburary. Japanese game production will continue into the future, which means Asian English releases and Play-Asia limited runs will continue to be made.

Tikipod Games, creators of some Vita titles including Aqua Kitty, have said following the physical production news that they have one last Vita game in the works for the platform. They didn't give any details, but did say they hope to show something off next month.

Some developers were also out in force confirming their upcoming physical Vita versions, so I'll repeat them here, thanks to PSP2Roundup - Shakedown Hawaii, SkullPirates, Bloodstained Ritual of the Night and Sharin no Kuni have all confirmed to be proceeding as planned, and Limited Run Games' Twitter has said they have over thirty physical Vita releases in the pipeline.

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon was announced this week. It's an action platformer akin to old-school Castlevania, with switchable characters and plenty of levels to explore. This is the 8-bit game that was a stretch goal on the Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Kickstarter campaign. It'll be out on the 24th of this month for a cost of $10, but if you pledged above a certain level on the Kickstarter, you'll be getting a code for this in your inbox soon.

Kid Tripp, an iOS runner/platformer also released on the 3DS and Switch, will be making its way to the Vita and PS4 sometime this year. The game contains an 'old-school' soundtrack and art style, and 20 levels to go through.

Speaking of Limited Run Games, they have announced that May 25th will contain two releases from them; a regular version of Kemco RPG Antiquia Lost, and two versions of Cosmic Star Heroine, the limited edition for Vita containing a 76 page manual, longbox jewel case, poster, art prints, soundtrack and reversible cover art. That edition will cost $65USD, the two regular versions have not been priced, but one assumes they'll be around $30USD.

Play-Asia have put a physical version of Reverie up for sale - the Special Edition comes with a manual, soundtrack, numbered certificate, map, and collectors box for $35 USD. It might be sold out by the time you see this, and I apologize if so.

Some big dates for you this week! First up is Stardew Valley, confirmed for release on the 22nd of May, and it is cross-buy with the PS4 version as a reminder, but not cross save. Defender's Quest DX has been spotted by Gematsu as releasing next week, and the developer has said on Twitter that's what'll happen barring any last minute issues. And Bullet Girls Phantasia has gotten a date of August 9th, however the Asian English release hasn't been dated again just yet.

Lastly this week, a correction; I did say last week that NightCry was not confirmed for Western release, but Playism did indeed announce just before my weekly update was due to go up that they will be bringing the Vita version west at some point, I just missed adding it last week. Sorry about that. That's it for this week.
