D'Angelo Russell started off the game with hot shooting and managed to finish with 27 points, but only had 2 assists with 3 turnovers. Nets coach Kenny Atkinson will likely instruct him to be more involved in play-making duties going forward. Was still encouraging to see him have the confidence to try and take the game over in the clutch. The Nets role players also played a terrific game, Carroll in particular with several outstanding hustle plays.
