The 147th District courtroom was full of emotional testimony from survivors and family of the victims from the SXSW fatal crash. Rashad Owens is on trial for Capital Murder following the crash that killed four people and injured another 20.

In video shown in court on Wednesday, Owens admitted he had been drinking and recently did time for a DWI. But that’s not why police originally tried to stop Owens in the early morning hours of March 13, 2014.
