Refering to herself as "African geek girl", Juliana Rotich is an evangelist for African ICT and how it impacts the lives of many people across the continent. She has just moved back to Nairobi and her tireless work towards getting Africa out of the so called 'Digital Divide' cannot not be stopped by power outages or angry neighbours like Sudan or Somalia. The role and success of mobile based technologies in the developing world cannot be underestimated. As much these technologies have positively impacted the lives of many, Juliana is sure that mobile technology will exponentially develop in Africa. In the second part of the interview, she shares some leap-frogging innovation from Africa.
