Assistant Professor of Psychology Dr. Elisha Eveleigh engages the Wheaton College community with a discussion on anxiousness, worry, and how these feelings fit into a Christian's discipleship. Using the story of the Woman at the Well (John 4:5-14), Dr. Eveleigh shows how, for the Christian, the Gospel provides a place where rest can be found. As we seek the One from Whom peace flows, we become less and less confined to our current circumstances and more satisfied and comforted in the promises of Jesus, who has reconciled us to God.
