Oregon Law's Constitution Day presentation was held on Tuesday, Sept. 17. "National Security and the Constitution: Reflections on Constitutional Issues Raised by Wikileaks, Cyberspying and the War on Terror" featured panelists, and United States Constitution experts: ▪ Dave Frohnmayer, Oregon Law professor and university president emeritus ▪ Ofer Raban, Oregon Law associate professor and Elmer Sahlstrom Senior Faculty Fellow ▪ Dan Tichenor, Philip H. Knight Professor of Social Science and Senior Faculty Fellow at the Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics The professors reflected on some of the Constitutional issues raised by the War on Terror, including the recent Wikileaks and National Security Agency leak scandals and the evolution of presidential powers in the name of national security.
