This year we are seeking your support to bring back to life Peter Darrell's The Nutcracker, one of our most iconic and memorable productions. Our design team are working with Olivier Award-winning designer Lez Brotherston to create the costumes. With metres of glittering golden braid for The Prince’s tunic, swathes of silk taffeta for Clara’s Christmas party dress, thousands of sparkling crystals sprinkled on gorgeous tutus and the perky heads of the little grey mice - the costumes need to look spectacular on stage, but they must also be hardwearing so The Nutcracker lasts the test of time. You can play your part in re-creating the magic and enchanting audiences for years to come by donating to our Costume Appeal. Find out more at http://www.scottishballet.co.uk
