Thomas Was Alone Review

Thomas Was Alone surprised me quite a bit with its quirky "characters" and addicting gameplay. Find out more in this episode of Baer-ly Played!

This was a fairly brief episode as compared to the rest of the season so far, and I did forget to mention a few things within the review itself:

1) The soundtrack is terrific work done by David Housden. You can find that here: http://bit.ly/MHEfjD

2) I didn't want to offer too much information about the story apart from what I mentioned in brief. Suffice it to say, there's a whole different universe that exists around Thomas and his crew. Eventually, you get to the point of understanding and manipulating this universe, and it all comes together in a remarkable terminus. While I would have loved to see bonus levels or any other reason to come back and play more, it wasn't necessary to feel that my purchase was justified, and Bithell clearly didn't see a need for filler content.

3) Danny Wallace does an outstanding job, but the writing is equally wonderful. Kudos there.

Again, thanks so much for watching Baer-ly Played! Comments and critiques are wholeheartedly welcome, not to mention hitting the "Like" button if you do like it - it helps a ton.

Also, I've got a pretty cool announcement to make on Friday. Look forward to that. Secrets/revelations/probably-not-nude pictures on Twitter: @BaerTaffy
