Active investigations into the murder of Police Constable Kryston Ramirez, who was gunned down at a Carapo bar on Sunday, have led to the arrest of a 16 year old Secondary school student in connection with the murder. Reports say the young suspect was picked up at 6:30pm at his Peytonville, Arima home. The teen is now in custody at a police station in the Northern Division and is assisting Homicide Investigations Bureau detectives with their probe into the murder of PC Ramirez. At about 2:30pm on Sunday, two masked men entered Classic Bar in Arima where PC Ramirez was relaxing. They shot him once in the head before running off. Ramirez, who lived in Peytonville, was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to the Forensic Science Centre in St. James where an autopsy will be done on Monday.
